I’m Lindsey, Co-Owner of Freebird Beauty Co. and a professional Makeup Artist with 15 years of experience. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working in many parts of the beauty industry, with a special interest in bridal. I feel incredibly lucky to have a job that allows me to work with so many amazing people and help them feel beautiful and confident through makeup! I can't wait to work with you, whether on your special day or through one of our classes!

My background is extensive in administration and with my love of love, joining the Freebird team has been such an amazing opportunity! Working together, I promise you are in capable hands! Outside of work, I spend time with my husband and 2 kids and can usually be found either reading, enjoying a cup of coffee, or having a nap when I can!

Hi! My name is KC and I’ve been working in the beauty industry for 18 years. As a makeup artist, I’ve been lucky enough to have the trust of thousands of humans to allow me to create the perfect look for them. From hundreds of weddings to backstage at the Juno’s, Canadian Screen Awards or the Canadian Country Music Awards it brings me such joy to help people feel like the best version of themselves on their most important day. As a multi-disciplinary artist, I am self-taught in makeup and hair (as well as tattooing and nails but that’s a different story!). I can’t wait to meet all the Freebird Brides and have the most fun with y’all!

I love all aspects of doing hair but up styling gives me the opportunity to be truly creative and do something new every time. Creating a look the bride has envisioned is one of the most rewarding feelings and being a part of someone’s special day gives me joy knowing I played a role in that!

My name is Melly and I’ve been working in the beauty industry for almost a decade now with a special love for hair! I love re-creating your inspirations with my own added twist and truly believe a positive environment with mutual trust is the key to bringing your vision to life. I’ve built a strong knowledge and foundation for my specialty. Having graduated from a Vidal Sassoon Academy, I continued my education through Europe and Turkey, eventually becoming an educator myself. I participated in multiple fashion shows and became a semi-finalist in the Canadian Hairdressers Awards twice.

My name is Jessica and I enjoy bringing out the beauty in others and ensuring brides are confident for their big day! I received my makeup certification from Paramita in Toronto in 2014, but I’ve been creating beautiful makeup looks on clients for over a decade. I previously worked with Morphe Brushes in Toronto and have experience with all skin complexions. I enjoy creating various looks according to the client’s comfort level with makeup. My favourite makeup brands include MAC, Morphe, Stila, and Maybelline. Born and raised in Hamilton, I’m a mom to a gorgeous little girl.

My name is Kaitlan and hair is my passion! I am a self-taught hairstylist and am learning and trying out new styles every day. I have been styling hair as long as I can remember but have been styling professionally for over 5 years. I am always trying to open myself to new things and now am certified in Classic Lash extensions and sugaring. I am a mother of 2 handsome boys that keep me very busy! If I am not with my husband and children, I am making women look and feel beautiful! Every woman should feel amazing in their own skin and having a part in making that happen brings so much happiness to me. Being a hairstylist is not just a job for me, it is a passion and my first love.

I’m Heather, a licensed hairstylist and have been specializing in bridal hair for half of my decade-long hairstyling career. Hairstyling is my passion and my creative escape. There is nothing I love more than glamming up a bridal party with spice girls blasting and mimosas flowing. The most rewarding part about this job is the feeling of pure magic when a bride looks in the mirror and LOVES her hair! I was born and raised in Scotland, and now live in Ontario with my soon-to-be hubby. When I’m not doing hair, I am busy being a (self-proclaimed) Super Auntie to my favourite little humans and planning my own wedding!

My name is Jessenia and I love all things beauty! I have been a certified Makeup Artist for 8 years. I started my journey in the beauty industry through fitness competitions. I worked alongside athletes for photoshoots and competitions for over 4 years. During this time I also worked with Mac, Morphe, Vasanti all while doing some bridal work in the background. I decided to switch my focus to bridal after discovering the importance of complexion. My goal is to make every client that sits in my chair feel beautiful and confident in their own skin by enhancing it rather than covering it up.

Norah is Freebird’s official mascot and the world's friendliest golden retriever. She’ll greet you at the door with a tail wag, not a bark, and might even offer you a shoe (her love language, obviously). Whether she’s flopping over for belly rubs or just keeping you company, Norah plays a very important role: making sure every guest feels safe, calm, and completely at home. She’s the heart of the Freebird experience—fluffy, friendly, and full of love.
